Martin Allen
Martin Allen is an experienced and well-respected criminal lawyer with a broad background.
First, an officer in the British Merchant Navy. Then, technical jobs in the marine and oil exploration industries across Canada, engineering work in the Arctic, and a management position in a major aerospace company. An Honours B.Sc. in economics with a second major in French, and a law degree from the University of Victoria. Articles with Smart & Williams, a top-flight criminal law firm in Vancouver, and a year as a law clerk with the judges of the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
He is the author of “Criminal Focus”, a quarterly criminal law analysis newsletter for British Columbia criminal practitioners.
